  1. Anyone know the turn around on custom paintings?

    • Hi Byron!

My custom artwork takes anywhere from 5 to 40 hours. The lower time for smaller, 8 X 10 inch or 11 X 14 inch, pen & ink drawings and pencil sketches. The longer time for larger acrylic paintings, 16 X 20 inches or 24 X 30 inches.

Since I’m not doing this full-time, yep got me one of those day jobs with a salary, It can run anywhere from two weeks for the smaller projects up to 3 months for the larger items.

So, I encourage people to plan ahead if interested in a commissioned work of art. I’m taking orders now for delivery in July through October.

Hope to hear from you sometime in the near future!

  2. I like the yellow pastel classical car. The prices are reasonable.

    • Hi there Deepak!

Thanks for the nice comments on my artwork!

The fixed prices on my eBay store are about 20% savings from what the suggested retail pricing would be and the auction prices are another 20% lower than my fixed prices. Much lower than you will pay purchasing my art at a gallery.

Hope you choose to become a collector of some of my art in the near future!

  3. I like his sketches. Lots of variety of art on this site.

    • Hi Claudette!

Thanks for the nice comments! I do enjoy doing a variety of subjects. Sometimes I tease that I haven’t really decided what my primary focus for my art is yet. That’s why I’ve gone to focusing on “Making Memories” as my niche.

I really enjoy doing art that evokes good memories in those that view it. I even have a poem I’ve written about memories when my father, who was an automotive mechanic, passed away when I was just 15 years old.

You can print a free copy of it from this page of my website: http://rickspooner.com/freebies.html
